I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a custom (modified bassani) equal-length ORY to mate up with the stock manifolds on my '01 SS.
I've had my share of exposure to compressible fluid dynamics, but just looking at the Dr. Gas & Flowmaster merge collectors, I'm not seeing how one is superior to the other. I do, however, see how pulse scavenging might be more effective in the Dr. Gas design. Does anyone have any evidence that one is superior to the other in an application such as this?
No hijack intended.

I prefer the Kooks y pipe because the driver's side piping is oval like stock, which helps with fitment and ground clearance a lot.
