Default Dynatech SuperMax any good?

I've been thinking of getting the Dynatech Supermax headers and cats system but it sure is a lot of money. I just wondered if anyone has that setup and, if so, what they thought of it.
Thanks...

Have you tried searching yet?? Do a search, especially in this forum. Read through the exhaust sticky as well.

How much is it, exactly?

Brand new on eBay they're about $1300.00. They're all stainless.

Wow, that't kind of expensive. I didn't even realize. That is for the headers, Y-pipe and cats, correct? If so that's not all that bad.

Most everyone on this site would recommend going with kooks/QTP's for that kind of money thoughl.

They are good, I have a friend that has them, but if he had to do it over again he would of gotten the kooks or qtp- thats from him, and I would think so also.

A good friend of mine has em. One night we were out romping on it and his EGR bung blew out, dont let that discourage you from buying em though, **** like that just happenes. Onlythin I dont like about em is the short collector and the 2-1/2inch y-pipe.

Yes, it's a very good system. No 3rd hand knowledge either. Kit is well put together and of great quality. I gained .31sec and 2mph in the 1/4 mile after installing the system too.

Pics can be seen at http://community.webshots.com/user/schantin The pics are on the 2nd page. I also wrote a product review on the parts section of LS1.com.

What I like about the Dynatech system is the ground clearance and fit. The quality is really good too, but Dynatech isn't the only quality header. As for power...I can't say what the headers alone gave me, but I'm sure they're right up there with the best.

i second that, on average, most long tubes make the same amount of power if all things remain equal. size, merge collector, no merge collector....etc!

THe fit and quality of the kit is excellent. Everything you need, colored pic instructions, gaskets, bolts, cats....whatever you need, you'll get it. 1300.00 is to much though. You can get them for under 1100 like i did though.......

I am very happy with my Dynatech Supermaxx headers & catted Y! 4,000 miles so far and no problems. I got the complete kit for $1099 shipped off a GP here a few months ago so I would search all the boards for sales/GPs Fit and finish is very nice. Car sounds awesome w/GMMG
As for HP numbers, my baseline was 325 RWHP/342 RWTQ and after the headers, u/d crank pulley, tune, and adding 3.73 gears (which robs a few HP on the dyno) I dynoed 349 RWHP/360RWTQ so I think that is a pretty good gain.
