True Duals on 1998 T/A Attached is a picture of the True Duals using 3" pipe, X-Pipe and Magnaflow mufflers as installed on my 1998 T/A. It was a complete custom fab done in our shop in the New Orleans area. It is a one of a kind system, flows great, and the best part is it maintains ground clearance, with the header collectors being the lowest point.
The best part of this system is it is much quieter than using bullet mufflers. You can actually sit in the car, windows up, and have a normal conversation, until you nail it. At idle, it is very deep and authoritive, but still not blowing your ears off. I did have to modify the rear seat pans somewhat, but nobody ever sits back there due to a roll bar in the car. If you look real hard, you can see where several inches of seat pan was removed and new pans welded in. This is where the mufflers tuck into for the added ground clearance.
