Stumbles for 1/4 mile......

Stumbles for 1/4 mile...... Ok,
After 3 days of not driving my car, I have come back and now everytime I start my car, it will stumble, like its being flooded, for the first 1/4 mile. During this time it will "come to life" a few times and run like a banshee. Then finally, it just "comes to life" an its normal, like nothing happened until I turn it off again. I do have the SES light on now steady. And of course, if it stumbles to much the 'SES light will blink, but go back to steady when it corrects itself.
Any suggestions? The car has 32K on it plus the mods listed below. I do not have a scanner, but the last time something like this happened, the codes were just generic misfire ones.
