March Pulleys, anyone have info
March Pulleys, anyone have info Just looking around at the pulley options which are asp,slp,and march. I know about the asp and slp ones but what about the new march pulleys, anyone have them, what are your experiences with them. Is it compairable to the asp pulley. thanx
I have a March and it's been on and off a couple of times and still holding up well. An underdrive pulley is an underdrive pulley whether it be SLP, ASP, or March. Just get whichever is the cheapest.

I agree with the above posting but remember that under drive pulleys are only good for adding a couple of HP but depending on the area of the country you live/drive in - it can be a pain in the backside. My 97 had a under drive pulley and overheated in heavy traffic/hot days. When you idle, the 12VDC is very low (almost into the red zone) and the fans are not moving as much air as they should. In the winter with the rear window defroster on at idle, low voltage etc. I finally remove it and can tell it is much better with the factory pulley.

reason i asked is cause asp had problems in the past with their pulleys seperating. As fo the low voltage problem, yea i know about that but thats what an overdrive alt pulley is for, and it wont hurt much in the power dep as it takes 1hp to make 776 watts, our alt's roughly take 2hp at full amp draw..
