350 horse slp power package
Lid. Any lid. ~$120
Cold air induction. Fast toys ram air, super sucker ram air, even slp cold air induction. ~$130
Ported throttle body. $160 tops, if you buy new TB outright
Total: ~$700, and he's ready to make the next step and get headers, if he chooses.
Tell him to get the following:
1) Hooker catback
2) aftermarket lid(they r all basically the same)
3) stall & tranny cooler
4) Ported TB
5) Cold Air Intake
He should still have plenty of money left.
I think the ls1tech community would rather you just rob the guy and then sell him good stuff for cheap instead of ripping him off or "helping" or whatever.
There are so many people ripping people off by selling them FAKE ******* SS CAMAROS- me being somewhat of a victim -that i dont think magnet selling the guy $200 **** for $300 is gonna make the world end any sooner.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
2) Are you ignoring labor for install, or assuming he can do it himself and already has all the tools? What about shipping?
3) Along with the converter and tranny cooler you also should get a tranny temp gauge, shift kit, drag radials and basic tune for shift points and torque management. I also recommend subframe connectors at this point, as an option, if you dont have them already.
4) Lists like this, even if you could make it fit the given $ amount, then limit the person to either used parts or the absolute cheapest available. Not everybody wants to do it that way.
There is NO WAY to make it without cutting every corner possible, with self install without having to buy any tools. At least half of the money would be gone after the cat-back, lid, throttle body and CAI.

Some of the SLP stuff isn't bad at all, but their prices are high. If you charge him more than 5%, I'd recommend helping him install it, and then max of 10%. That way you both win.
