catback length ???

catback length ???

I bought borla catback used and it had been cut to fit FLP headers and I was wondering exactly how much was cut because it doesn't look like it has been and there was a cutout added so Does anyone know the proper length that a catback should be?? thanks

I was in a simular situation, I installed the headers and y-pipe and drove the car to a muffler shop to hook up the catback.

There is no telling, sorry man, i had to remove 3-4" from my Magnaflow to work with my Dynatech ( AKA FLP Headers ) and its still not perfect, i was afraid to keep cutting. I had Hooker Headers and a Hooker Catback with my last LS1 car, and you would think that it would be a perfect fit because its coming from the same company?? nope, had to cut a few inches off that catback too... I hope you dont end up short if your going with factory mani's and Y. Id take it to a muffler shop if so.
