Why does ASP keep changing their pulleys?

Why does ASP keep changing their pulleys? Ever since the first ASP, I've seen probably 5 different versions of them over the years. Why do they keep changing?
Latest example... Their SFI approved version...all black, flat panel on the front
And here is their latest version..it's still SFI approved but it looks like the very first ones they made now
I just finally thought they had a good looking design going and now they go back to this...
I don't get it

idk, but perhaps its a sales thing, if some one has the first one, then sees they have a new one out, they might think its better and buy it, so they'll be making 2x the money, then when the third one came out same thing etc.

First version didn't work with double row tiing chains and required to be machined to work.
The new one will work a double row timing chain. not sure what other mods where made to it....
