Header wrap????

Header wrap???? Is it worth the time & extra work/money? I am lookin at a set of stainless Hooker Super Comp LT's & was thinkin bout wrapin them from half way down the runners to about 1" from the flanges to the ORY. Would this help, hurt, or be a waste of time. They would still look shinny from above but be wraped & heat sprayed black underneath the car. Figured it might help w/temperatures & help to protect the lower part of the headers from the elements.

ok, i was just curious. I figured the wrap might just be a big sales pitch by its makers.
Wouldnt stainless be just fine without worring bout rust without ceramic coating it?
