Well, I've got the latest version from SLP and it works fine.. It looks a hell of alot better but the main reason I got it is for my Fogger nozzle.

Red and blue silicone hoses here. From the 4" TB to the 3.5" MAF with a 45* angle. Check the store to order the other colors. These just need to be trimmed and installed. Real high quality.

I got a smooth bellows and it doesn't flex too much, but my lid is pritty reinforced, so I don't think it would crack. I hope!!!!

A smooth bellow will not give you any more horsepower.

I repeat: A smooth bellow with not give you any more horsepower.

Hopefully now anyone remaining that still holds the opposite of this to be true in their head knows better. Some take a different route and find out the hard way.

Sorry to hear you don't like yours.

Personally, I think they are all about the bling. If you don't care about looks, use the stock piece. If you want something that finishes off a nice system with maybe painted or polished TB and MAF ends, get some nice silicone pieces and maybe some polished clamps. The silicone pieces I posted above run about $30 with shipping so they don't really break the bank.

$50 for the black SLP piece and ones like it just don't make sense to me.

I had no fitment problems with my SLP bellow. Went on the TB and MAF pretty easily. The new lid took a little effort to get into position and it's a really snug fit but, that's a good thing, IMO. I think it'll conform to it's position after it's been on there a while and then it'll be easier to get on and off. If not, I'm sure there'll be a whole new kind of bellow by then.

Same here.. Not really a gain, IMO.. They also have a tendency to un-seat the lid when the engine torques over causing a filter leak. Not much coming from SLP is worth the money, IMO. I'll never buy SLP again. MAYBE the floor mats, but that's it.
