Default Dumped Exhaust

I was wondering if I'm losing any performance by having my exhaust dumped instead of having the common catback like everyone else. This setup was already on there when I bought the car and I can't tell what kind of muffler it is as well as the catted-y since my car is lowered. It's dumped a few feet before the axle. Another thing is, does the stock y come with one cat conv. or two because there's only one on the y-pipe. So anyways would I be getting more gains by going to a catback or should I leave it as it is. Thanks yall!

Ok I'm a little confused, so maybe you can clarify somet things for me.

Usually when exhaust is dumped its for true duals (there's no Y-pipe). There's usually either an X or H Pipe.

Stock Y pipe has 2 cats. I believe LT1's have 1. Mine had two right after the stock mani's. You can't see the stock cats unless you get under the car.

As far as catback vs. true duals with dumps. I've read that peak cans average with the duals having ~+5RWHP, but duals have stronger HP/TQ curves.

No I don't have true duals. It's a y-pipe with ONLY 1 cat (on the passenger side) merged into the muffler and then immediately dumped. Don't believe there's a flowmaster merge connecting the y-pipe to the muffler. Just curious on how the gains are on this setup compared to a catback.
