Default Header Gaskets

Well I just ordered some Pacesetter LT's from Byunspeed for a badass price. I am not trying to figure out what else I will need for the install. Which gaskets should I pick up because I am definitely not using the paper ones that come with the headers.

PS: I bought the race style headers for my car. Will I need anything else for the install? EGR block off, ect?

Get the stock GM gaskets. You will need a plug to block off the hole in your intake that's left after you remove the EGR system. You will also need some O2 sensor extensions (for the front O2 sensors) and some O2 sims for the rear (or they could be removed by tuning). I think that is all.

Do you happen to know where to get the block off plate for the intake? I didn't know that I had to have the front 02's extended. I have already had the rear 02 sensors deleted with HP tuners.

I reused the stock metal gaskets. When I orderd my pacesetters from tsp they came with some gaskets bolts and some wire to extend the o2 sensors. You might wanna remove your AIR.

you can just lengthen the 02 wires yourself or i know that hooker sells the extension kits also for blocking of the egr on a stock ls1 intake you can get a plug at your local hardware store in the plumbing isle they come in various sizes and are rubber with a bolt in the center to apply pressure to seal properly it will cost you about $3

Ok, I am going to pick up some 02 extensions and then grab the 1 3/8" rubber freeze plug for my intake where the EGR goes. I will be getting rid of the AIR/EGR all together. Is the hole in the intake the only thing that I need to block off for the EGR? What about the AIR?

PS: I did order the race style pacesetters.
