Burnt / Broken O2 sensor wires. One or both sensors (Internally)could just be done too.

I had that problem with a new cam install, and all it was, was the engine sensor fuse. After that was fixed, no problems at all.

Another posibility on the plug side, is somewere along the lines of them removing the plug and re-installing them on installation, the droped a plug and closed the gap or something, and believe me, with lt1's anything is bound to happen on the pasenger side, I just changed my first set of LS1 plugs and took less than an hour total, all I can say about that is there is no comparisson between an ls1 and an lt1 on plugs

Good Luck bro, hope you get it sorted out. Go to the shop and watch if they will let, you, and get a glimps at those plugs!

Well got the car back from MORE, runs much better. Had two cracked spark plugs and a cracked coolent sensor. But now Im throwing codes, PO171 two times, and PO174 two times. Each one says Engine running lean both Bank 1 and Bank 2. Will the computer adjust to this or will I need a dyno tune.

Allright since I got out of the gym the codes have vanished. But Ive notice a strong smell of gas and exhaust everytime I drive the car. Is this a characteristic of the ORY and no cats. I swear I get a headache from it and reak of gas once Im done driving. Do you think I have a leak somewhere?

Get rid of the leak through welding or seal it with high-temp silicone. Just make sure you don't get any on the 02 sensors as it can mess them up.

I dont think this warning is explicit enough. Keep all RTV's away from o2 sensors as the fumes alone can kill them. First, use only "o2 sensor safe" high temp RTV. While even this stuff will kill o2 sensors eventually, its helps slow down the effects of silicone poisining. Secondly, use the RTV only downstream of the o2 sensors. Thirdly, apply the RTV only to the outside of a small leak, dont put it on the inside of your clamps or slip fit pipes when assembling, as when you tighten the clamps, it will gush out of both directions, and when the RTV gushes out into the inside of the pipe, the exhaust heat will release the silicon fumes. Even if it's downstream, after you shut the car off, the heat will still release silicon fumes which now can find their way upstream to the o2 sensors since there's no flow preventing this.

Thank You very much for all your help!!! I just bought some band clamps as opposed to the hangers, I will see how those work.

Im kind of confused why you posted question after question on here and then when people gave their opinion you said I dont have time to screw with it I'm taking it in. Should have just taken it in from the get go.

Glad you got it working though.

As for reaking of gas, thats the lovely smell of exhaust is from your lack of cats.
