Ported TB...worth the dough?
#4
Has there been a "how to" posted anywhere for the do it your selfers? I've already got the dremel and porting/polishing kit from Summit left over from a previous supercharger mod I did on the Lightning. It sounds straight forward enough, but a few pictures and a write up to review is all I would need to build the confidence to go at it on my own.
(Edit)
Used the search function and what do ya know...lots of great info found. I think I'll give this one a try in the next week or so.

tb porting
If you can do it for 75.00 its a low price. Its been awhile since i looked but thats low. I payed 160.00. But all together it adds up to more hp in the end. Every little bit helps.

It's not too hard at all to do yourself...Here's one how to I found/used when I did mine. There were a couple more. It just took me some time on yahoo/google to dig up a few. IMHO it was well worth the time I spent on it.

[QUOTE=disassembled]I am ASSuming you guys are talking about N/A apps. Right? What about a forced induction setup? Would a ported stock TB help in that situation?
I was speaking of NA/N20 use....It seems like a good bang for the buck upgrade...
