My ac compressor is making a loud squeaking noise as if metal is grinding. The compressor cools and works fine, it's just that it makes a lot of noise. Is there a way I can replace the clutch without disconnecting all the compressor lines? I know I'll need a hub puller and some people say there isn't enough space to get to it while the compressor is in the car but I think I can get to it if I unbolt it from the bracket. Is this a good fix?
