Cat converters and cut outs

Cat converters and cut outs

For my 02 camaro Im getting a GMMG exhaust. I want to get QTP cut outs but I hear that its hard to fit Cat converters and cutouts on the Y pipe.

Any suggjestion on how to keep the car emissions legal and also have cutouts?

put a cut-out on the I pipe just after the y....

But i dont think cut-outs are emmisions legal

cats and 02 senors are the things that effect emissions. so if its before the cats...when you open them up...two things will happen, you'll get a ses code for cats below efficanty. and it won't be emissions legal because your by passing your cats.

if you want to have it be legal, put it in the i pipe. It will be emissions legal, but maybe not sound legal, you have to check your local laws, some places don't allow you to change the stock exhaust at all. also, why would you want a cutout? I thought the gmmg exhaust was loud and sounded nice.
