?'s about !EGR & !AIR

hey everyone I have a couple of questions about removing the EGR & AIR.
question 1. by removing the AIR does it matter if your running cats or not , or do people just do this w/ory.
2. I know by removing these it will light up SES. Is this something i can just get deleted or does it have to be tuned?

1. It does not matter if you still have cats.
2. You will have to get it deleted with ls1edit or hptuners.

It will look allot cleaner without it. And will make changing the spark plugs easier because you wont have to unbolt them all the time.
