A few TB questions I'm trying to lighten up the throttle on my 04 GTO. I'd like to have the same kind of accelerator pedal feel that the MTI TB provides without paying $400 for it. The stock TB throttle shaft return spring is color coded blue, I've heard of at least one other spring color on LSx engines (orange). Do the color codes signify differences in spring tension? If so, how many different ones are there, and what are the spring rates on them (heavy, medium, light, etc.)? I'm trying to find the lightest one possible that will work on my stock LS1 throttle body. If that's not practical, does anyone know of a source for throttle shaft springs that could provide a ligher rate one? I've looked all over the web and found nothing so far. Worst case, is it possible to modify the stocker to lighten it up a bit?
