Default Do these makes a difference?

I've been reading a lot of posts on here of what people do to there cars. I see alot of stuff about adding a smooth bellows kit, putting on an slp cold air kit(underhood) add a maf sensor, ls6 intake and so forth. I would really like to do one of these if I see a significant gain. BUt as most people are, I'm on a budget and so forth. Will I fell a difference in 25 horse power? I know so many factors play in this, such as plugs, temp, humidity and so forth. I guess I would like to know how I can see and feel the most gains for the cheapest amount. I know quality parts cost money, but I need a starting point. Thanks for any advice in advance!

you will def. be able to feel 25hp but even if you did all of those above I doubt you would get 25 hp, somewhere close maybe??? Stay away from upgrading the MAF.
get youself a lid/K&NFIPK?Volant etc...The bellows really wont add anything either,
more of a cosmetic piece to me and you'll have to finagle it to get it to fit right w/out putting to much stress on the lid. LS6 intake would be your best gain. that and some 28.8# inj. and have it tuned and youll get 20 hp. Most of it being from the tune.

So ls6 intake, and 28.8 pound fuel injectors. When you say tune do you mean a hypertech tune? Will the ls6 intake bolt on with no problem?

damn dude, I just looked at your sig. you already have an ls6 intake. Stay away from hypercrap. Use hptuners/ls1 edit or get it tuned by a shop.

Your car is a 2002. 2001-2002 already comes w/ls6 intake. I didn't see it the first time around.

You wouldnt need injectors until you at least get a cam,and then it would have to be big to need them.your next steps should be an exhaust ,as in a catback, then a y pipe and headers.

Didn't know it had an ls6 intake. Where could find information like that. Is that something they did for 2002?

Oh my f*** Lord! The mans trying to save money and you're telling him to buy a $500 LS6 intake manifold that already comes on '01 and '02 LS1's!!!!!
His '02 also already has 28lb injectors!!!

iosigma, you have a 2002 Z28. You already have an LS6 intake manifold as well as 28lb injectors. You need to get a lid first. That's usually everones first mod. It's fast and easy and adds a positive 10 rwhp. They're as cheap as $90. 2 free mods come at the same time. Descreen your MAF sensor. Be carefull not to touch the little sensors inside. Also, look into doing a throttle body coolent bybass mod. It's dirt cheap and there's a ton of install instructions online.

Next, get some sort of exhaust cat-back. The sponsers on the right have a thousand different brands from $300-$1000. It will give you a good muscle sound and up to 10-15 rwhp. Go to LS1sounds.com to check out most all of them and hear them.

Also, an ASP underdrive crank pulley will give you 10-15 rwhp. They cost around $200.

when you do those mod's as single mods you probably wouldn't be happy if you were doing each individual one and looking for some kind of gain but when you start adding each suspension mod up, or every little thing you can do under the hood power will increase and e.t's will drop, so yes in the long run they are worth it...but its definetly not anything that you want if your on a budget and only looking for a little power or a good bang for you buck
