If you are worried about volume do searches on the mufflers people use. You can make true duals pretty quiet. Check out the larger magnaflows, for example. (4x9?)

The only noise that I'm worried about is the one inside the car. Since they will be right under rear seats I think there will be some resonance inside the car. Getting muffles kind of defeats point of TDs, doesn't it?

wow, 15whp more! Pretty damn good.

Where did you get bassani duals? How much were they?

Sounds like you already made your mind up but to push you a little further, the first thing I did to my LT1 and will do to my LS1 are TD's and I'm VERY pleased. I talked my buddy into TD's instead of a ORY pipe for his SS and he couldn't be happier!

Would $300 be worth extra few ponnies? How much better would QTP setup be against JH?

Got a link for TSP duals? I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere?
Define "a few ponies."
With a mild setup, it's "a few ponies".
When you get up there, Heads/Cam, Fast 90mm intake, "a few ponies" becomes, 20, 25, 30 ponies.

Cheap is good for now, sure, but you may end up swapping it out later.

My old car, with a TSP 231/237 cam and TEA Stage 1.5s on STOCK CUBES is making 472rwhp right now (that's not very common at all), thru QTP HVMC LT's, QTP ORY and a SLP 2OTL. That's the last time I'll say that in this thread. Would it make those numbers through TD's? Probably so. Would it make those numbers with Jet Hot or Pacesetter headers. Probably NOT.

One final note, TD's are not the end all and be all that everyone thinks they are. They offer decent gains, but again, I state, those gains are often compared to crappy ORY pipes which basically jam the left and right exhaust into the I pipe and call it a day.

Looks amazing and it's going all the way over the axle, so there would be no resonance. Pretty much perfect exhaust for someone who has money...

Well, I really want true duals, but there are a few things that are stopping me (clearance, inside resonance, etc). Once I'll get in the car with someone with dumped duals I will set my mind, until then I can only guess.

Agree, but I'm not really planning on making a monster out of my car with 600whp. I'd more than happy with the results you have right now.

If I had lost 5-10whp over $350, I'd be fine. I could always do it differently later on.

One final note, TD's are not the end all and be all that everyone thinks they are. They offer decent gains, but again, I state, those gains are often compared to crappy ORY pipes which basically jam the left and right exhaust into the I pipe and call it a day.
Well, TDs will perfroms just as well as an expensive ORY, so it's more of a preference of a person which one to get since the price will be about the same.

Hey, I'm just speaking from experience. TD's are a great novelty. They sound badass, they're different than your average joe's catback. But when you get sick of how loud they are and your brain yearns to stop resonating in your skull, you'll remember me.

Haha, I'm gonna keep you in my head until I hear them in person.

Thanks for that link man. I still have to pay off some money since I got the car, so all these plans are for next spring probably.
