Trying to stop an exhaust leak
Trying to stop an exhaust leak My clamps on my TSP ORY work for the most part but one that unites the collector and the y-pipe leaks a little. I've tried some exhaust cement, but I think it was a little too dried up when i used it. Should I try it again or what? Any other suggestions?
I have found the cure to my leaky band clamp woes. First I wrap the connection with exhaust tape, around the pipe two times, then install band clamp and tighten with an impact wrench. No more leaky 
Band clamps need to be super tight and stretched you could say. I could never get enough leverage lying on my back even with a breaker bar...

if you ever need to remove the y pipe just unbolt the collector

I think i'm going to give the exhaust tape a try and see how it works out.
