a/c compressor

how can i tell if the a/c compressor is bad in my car?

makes noise
system doesnt cool

those were my symptoms

although it didnt always make noise. Just beware.

see i have a noise but the system works fine so i was told it was belt tensioner so i will just switch those out and see if that solves it first.

what kind of noise?
mine sounded like it was grinding or hitting something so it depends on what it sounds like.

its more of a squeeling noise and is really loud when the a/c is on. but at times it does it all the time.

not-a-sponsor.com had it going for bout $300 or $400. but you might find it cheaper.
