160 thermo
I bought a 160 t stat a while ago and never put it on, so I sold it on here. I have heard some negative things about them, so I just bought a slp fan switch. The fan switch is awesome, I am glad that I bought it.

With a 160 degree T-stat and fan reprogramming, I now average 175 when driving and 185 when idling or stuck in rush hour traffic. This is in a car with LT headers and a TR224 cam too. At the track, cooler temps alone were worth .2 sec in the 1/4 mile.... I did a "controlled experiment" on this one night.
So..... go for the 160 (unless you live in a super cold climate).

I installed an AutoMeter one and found out that when the stocker said it was 210... the AutoMeter said it was 225-230!!!!
