Default cleanin the maf

i have read through the threads and some people say use rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip, and some say use electric cleaning spray. i am thinking of the cleaning spray and i am just wondering do you just spray it on the wires in the maf and leave it to dry or do u have to wipe it off with a q-tip also??

I use the CRC brand quick drying spray. Take off the MAF ends, spray down the whole thing a few times(dont spray too close, the wires are fragile), then get a couple q-tips and spray each wire and clean it gently while its still wet, you'll see how much dirt /oil/crud is still on there after a few qtip passes, they should be shiny Then spray the whole thing off again and let it dry for a few minutes, reassemble, and put it back onthe car.i usually reset the PCM after, i was shocked how much of a difference it makes.

turn key on,pull the PCM IGN and PCM BAT fuses
wait a few minutes then shut the key off and put the fuses back in.
resetting lets the PCM relearn the values from the clean MAF as opposed to the dirty one.

I'm not sure on a Camaro, but i'm sure its the same.At the drivers side front of the wheel well there's 2 fuse boxes.I dont know what you mean by they are all silver.Unless someone painted the top of the fuse box covers. If they are painted then I'm not sure how to explain where the fuses are, because on the tops of those covers was where it said the placement of the fuses.
