Default Loudmouth with Dumps

I have a SS with stock manifolds and cats and loudmouth catback and I think tailpipes suck and want to hack them off for looks. Has this ever been done b4 and does anyone know what it will sound like I think it will eiether sound really shitty or really good

any opinions welcome

I don't really understand, do you mean cut off the tail pipes and weld on some dumps in their place? Or do you mean not run a catback at all (exhaust ends at Y-pipe)? On stock manifolds with cats in place, I don't think it will sound bad at all. It will be deeper, but I don't think it will sound like crap. Now, add some longtubes and remove the cats, and all bets are off.

Its funny, half the people on this board have never head LM/ORY/LTs and just knock it simply because other people have heard it and didnt like it.

Not implying you krab are doing that at all, but just people in general.

But to answer your question, where do you want to dump the exhaust?

i was thinking of dumping it after the axle where it merges from one pipe to two pipes
i probably would not weld on dumps since it is already pointing down

Should work fine. Best way to find out is to cut it off and see if you like it. If you don't you can always have it welded back on.

If you do it, let us know if you have any drone afterwords. I would bet you don't.
