LS1 intake on LS6
ok, I've read about changing the coolant tubes and such when putting an LS6 manifold on an older LS1 car. Does anyone know of any necessary modifications(other than EGR) to put the LS1 manifold on an LS6? I'm asking because I know a guy about to trade off his 02 and I think I have him talked into swapping manifolds with my 00 before he takes it in

finding a corvette LS1 intake, makes for a good "replacement" for a LS6 intake in those situations, visually, cannot tell the difference until you look at part numbers with the intake installed.
I didn't get my LS6 that way, but i know others who have, on cars that were traded in.

I guess if they notice it they can make the dealer pay to replace it with an LS6.
