Default Coolant lines ?'s

I will be putting on my lingenfelter intake tomarrow and was wondering what the coolant lines are made out of what type of metal also what size is the piping if anyone knows? It says you can moddify the stock ls1 pipes/lines by cuuting and then soldering. I am a plumber and have access to many types of fittings and I can solder brass/copper. I also have plenty of gas pipe/ refrigeration compression fittings anyone know what type of metal and size of pipe either ID or OD let me know.

INSTALLATION OF WEIAND ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD:
1. LS6 engines do not need modification to the valley coolant tubes. 2000 and earlier LS1 engines do need modification. If you want to use the LS6 parts on your LS1 engine, the GM part numbers are #12578838 for the front crossover and #12563325 for the rear plugs. The rear plugs are called the LS6 head water cover and you will need a quantity of 2. If you want to use your stock coolant tubes, you can cut, flatten, fold, and braze/solder the coolant lines, as shown in Figure 1.

I have a question i recently bought a 04 LS6 from a Z06 it didnt come with crossover tube does that mean i can use my 98z crossover tube on the 04 LS6? Because i ordered cross over tube for 04 LS6. Another question does that also mean i dont need block off plugs? since i got LS6 heads and a LS6 block. Paid 40 bucks for crossover tube from GM. Thanks
