ls2 water pump in ls1

Default ls2 water pump in ls1
had my car serviced for a new water pump (mine has leaked twice). when i got the car back i noticed the water pump looks a little different. i tried to install the 160 tstat that i asked them to install for me but it didnt fit. i looked at the january issue of gmhtp to get pics of the ls2 engine. come to find out i do have the ls2 waterpump. the thermostat for the ls2 is only 20 bucks compared to the ls1 for about 50. i also found out the water pump is lighter and is less prone to leaks!

Does the LS2 water pump flow more volume of coolent?

Actually I read that the ls2 water pump sucks. It would actually be a downgrade.

Does the Meziere pump flow more than the LS1 or LS2 pump?
