ac shroud removal?

ac shroud removal?

I removed it but put in back in because I'm affraid I woud overhear. Has anybody here done this? I would get a lot more air in the lid= more power.

I ran my car for awhile without one. Didn't notice a difference. I did put it back, figure it doesn't hurt pushing the air through the radiator, instead of around it.

Hi i am gonna remove my A/C System is there anyway i can wire my A/C fan to my Radiator cooling fan to keep the engine running cooler?? or is there a downside to have it running a bit cooler? Thanks

Why would you think it would run cooler? They are still turned on by the temperature sensor. Having both fans turn on would increase efficiency, but probably wouldn't reduce the temps unless the one fan is being over worked.

If you want lower temps, you will need a lower temp thermostat as well as to reset the on and off temps for the fans.
