I ordered my Pacesetter headers and ORY in June and the y-pipe is very good quality. Mounted up easy, slid right up onto the collectors, no fitment problems at all. It doesn't even bang on the chassis under hard acceleration. So I guess they fixed the problem.
I've got one and don't really have any problems with it. It bangs under acceleration, but that's because the back of the system, near the merge, is to close to the body. The shop that put it on mounted it to close.
I dont think there ever was a problem with it. After other y pipes were released they were no better. Its a tight fit on our cars to put a 3" y pipe and still have ground clearance. The Pace y pipe is just fine.
I have the Pacesetter Y-pipe and Im not too happy with the way they merged the two pipes into one. When you look inside that perticular area, you can see that there is a restriction. Also, I'm not sure how other Y-pipes are, but my y-pipe is kind of flat-end out at (i think) 2 areas. Besides these little probs, its a nice piece. If I could do it all over again, I'll get the TSP Y-pipe. Good Luck

Mine bumps the floor a little. I moved it around a few times and took one of the brackets off and now it bumps the floor a lot less. Now it only bumps under full accelleration in first, whereas before it bumped in every gear.
