Default Would a Mufflex have less rasp than my Corsa?

I thought that Corsa was one of the only exhausts that didn't have that annoying rasp but between 2500 and 3000 it sounds like a farm truck with glasspacks, but I have no cats. I don't want to run cats and I don't want this blap blap sound. Would the 3.5" or 4" Mufflex with the Spintech get rid of this? Am I looking at more hp/torque or less? I love the way the exhaust sounds everywhere else! It already has a bullet in the I pipe which really strikes me as odd. I've heard of putting a short bullet in each section of the Y pipe, would this eliminate the rasp and still give me the nice metallic sound of the Corsa?

I'm running Macs, ORYw/carsound cats and a mufflex w/4" spintech and there is very little rasp and its only there when I'm getting on it. It wasn't ever there when I had the longer tail pipes. A friend ran them on a Lightning and there was also no rasp.

That's going to be a lot of rasp and drone. You'll have to stick a XR-1 there to be able to tolerate it, unless you like it loud.
