Yeah, this sucks. I just went to pull them off and it just fell apart. No force or anything. They were fine the last time I looked at them. Then the past few da's the car was showing some knock and bad performance. So I decided to take a look at the plugs and there went the wire.

Default Taylor wires

3 out of 5 broke on me yesterday when I was checking them. 2 looked like they were not crimped enough, one broke like yours. I will post pics when I figure out how. Bought mine about a year ago.

Yeh, now that I have posted this I see I'm not the only one here having this problem. I wish I had seen this first before buying them.

I've got MSD's on my car which are great wires. The only complaint I have is the spark plug boots, they are long and thick and you really need to push hard to get them to click on. Normally not a problem except a couple plugs on the pass side are not that easy to get a real good grip on. I just finished removing the AIR on my car and was putting a couple wires back, I thought I had #4 on but when I pushed on it hard again I heard a click, good thing I double checked. After rechecking the dr side one of those was not on all the way.
I was thinking of getting some Taylors which have shorter plug boots but after reading this I think I'll stick with what I have.

I had one of mine break too. Sadly, it seems that's the norm for Taylors.

Same exact thing happened to me while changing plugs yesterday. My wires were put on 9 months ago and yesterday was the second time I had removed that particular wire. Didn't have a problem with any of the other wires (crossing fingers). Luckily a friend of mine who was helping me out had a spare set that I could borrow one from.

I had the 10.4 thundervolts and that same thing happened. I went to replace the plugs and when I got a few out I looked and the electrode from the wire was still on the end of the plug. kinda sucked b/c I only wanted to change the plugs and it was like 1am when I was doing it. so the car sat the next day instead of going to the track like what I was changing the plugs for. hope this helps
thanks
