Default Stock cat back with 3" dyno bullet?

Like it says above I am running a stock cat back 2 7/8" with a single in single out 3" bullet. I have a H/C, full bolt-on car spraying 100 dry shot. Is this system hurting my power? I was thinking of the mufflex 4" with a 4" bullet race muffler like I have now. Would I see any gains? Would it get rid of the rasp?

Thanks Ryan

Maybe a tiny bit, but I have the same setup you do, and I find it hard to believe that the 3" bullet/stock piping is a restriction. You'll always have people saying to switch to a bigger exhuast, but it may not be worth the trouble or cost.

I was not worried about it with a stock application, but now with the upgrades I am worried about it. With the spray I should hit 520rwhp. What is a single 3" rated to handle for HP?
