Any reason to coat Kook SS headers
I bought a set of Kook's SS headers and have been thinking of getting them coated with a Jet Hot (But not Jet Hot) coating. Is there any problem with the Kooks headers rusting or discoloring after a while?

The main reason that ceramic coated headers are cermaic coated: Heat insulation and dissipation. If you want to dramatically reduce engine compartment temps (yes, you do) and if you want the headers to be able to be touched just a few minutes after shutting down the car, then get them coated.
The Stainless headers are fine without a coating. If you want the thermal property benefits... then get them done.
