Will my exhaust sound bad if...
I was thinking about doing the Pacesetter long tube headers with a custom Y pipe and a Dynomax bullet or the like in the I pipe... Then just over the axle with tips out the back... Would my car be raspy and sound unrefined? If so how could I make it just sound deep and loud with the headers and no cats... I dont want to hurt flow thats why I wanted to go with a straight through muffler like the bullet kind... Thats what I have now on my car except with cats and stock manifolds.... I know I wanna get pace setters but everything else is pretty much up in the air.. So please comment or give suggestions.. Thanks ALOT!!!

It's going to be raspy and droney. Depending on your age and tolerance for noise, it might be acceptable to YOU, but 99% of the people on the street will be giving you bad looks because it's going to sound like ***.
To make it sound better, you could put bullet mufflers where the cats go and a Borla XR-1 in the I pipe. But trust me, a single bullet and no cats is going to sound very unrefined. Basically, loud, but not a good loud.

the set up pat described sounds pretty nice, alot of the guys with the xr-1's are usually happy with them in the LM system. check up on cost though i dont know how expensive that system would be to have an exaust shop run.
