under intake coolant lines??

the small 1/4" tubing that connects all 4 corners of the heads under the intake.
Are they really needed? Im just trying to put an LS1 intake on a truck block with the truck lines and they are all bent different so the intake wont fit.

can i just take it off and plug them? do they do a whole lot? Its a turbo engine in a nova drag car. street driven also.

u can block off 2 of the 4, but not all 4. the 2 heads need to exchange coolant flow.

Yeah i think that might be possible just have to get a front cross over pipe and use it on the rear you can get them from gm also can get the plugs for them too.

You can plug the rear but not the front.
