SLP Lid question ( 98 - 00 differences )

I am looking to buy a used SLP lid. Someone offered a lid of a 2000 Camaro SS

Will this lid be compatible with my 98?

On the SLP website, there is a lid for 98-99's and 00-02's..

I am wondering if the latter is backwards compatible.

The 00-02 have a hose that connects to the lid that the 98 and 99 do not have. I would go ahead and find one for your year.

Isnt that just for the AIR system or something, i'm sure you could just take the hose off and plug the hole.

All that you would have to do is seal the hole up. No big deal. Might look kinda funny, if that type of thing bothers you.

like 70 bucks..

90-100 brand new...

Hmm, I think i will wait around for one from a 98

If you buy the lid directly from SLP it comes with the plug for the AIR system.
