Default Does anyone make a real carbon fiber lid?

I bought a used carbon fiber looking lid a while back, but it fits kinda bad and looks to be a little warped . I like the look of the cf and was wondering if there were any companies that sell real carbon fiber lids. I was also thinking of getting a slp lid and painting it but I don't like the raised logo. Do they have any that don't have the raised logo?

If there is anybody that does make a real carbon fiber lid, I dont think the idea is a very good one. carbon fiber is woven, if you hold it up to the light, you can see pin holes all over the lid, which could let dirt into your intake. I had a real cabon fiber lid on my dirt bike, and you could almost see straight thru it, it worked on the dirt bike because of the way the filter was set inside it , but the way our cars are, i dont think its a very good idea. just something to think about.

If the carbon fiber is done correctly, you may see light thru it but it will be air tight. Pinholes generally occur when a regular wet layup process is used. that is why a lot of companies clearcoat the parts. Additionally using a wet layup process also can result in warpage when exposed to heat.
