AIR valve question

AIR valve question I had a service light come on and the dealership said I needed to replace my AIR valve. Any advice on where to buy, and how to replace it would be greatly appreciated. I will do this myself as I have been recently fleeced by my dealership over a slave cylinder replacement. Living in Ontario, Canada all the emissions need to be functional. Mine would stick and my light would come on too. You can get the part form the dealer it should only run around $40. It is easy to install. do you know which one is causing the light?

There is one attached to each exhaust manifold. To find them, start by looking directly at the exhaust manifold, look for a very short tube/line/fitting coming off the middle of the manifold heading straight upwards. Once you find the fitting, you will notice that it has a two bolt flange with a pipe bolted to the top side. That pipe leads into a black metal "bulge". That bulge is the AIR check valve. One side attaches by threaded pipe (manifold side) and the other is attached to a rubber hose with a plastic clamp. All you need is the proper size wrenches to unscrew the valve from the AIR pipe and use a screw driver to pop the plastic clamp open on the other end, then pull off the hose. I found it easier to just remove the tube from the manifold (pull the two bolts out of that flange) before removing the valve from the threaded tube. The flange bolts are 10mm I beleive.
If you want to test them to see which is bad, you can pull them both and try to blow through the valve. You should only be able to blow air from the side that the rubber hose attached to towards the manifold ONLY. If you are able to blow air both ways, or neither way, then that valve is bad.
Part number for the check valve is 22048212 (this was for a '98, not sure if all years use the same valve but they likely do), GM list is $26.41. Gasket part number for the AIR pipe to manifold flange is 12553617, GM list $1.41. Not sure what the Canada prices are though.
