I have the Billet one, used it for about a year. Then added some LT headers and just couldn't get my fuel trims correct. Thought about it for awhile and figured I would put the stock cap on. Lowered my fuel trims to where they should. So, I must have been getting some unmetered air going through the breather and into the throttle body. Wasn't a big deal, but probably will save me a few bucks a month in gas I didn't need to use from incorrect fuel trims. There are ways to bypass it so it doesn't do that, but I see no need to even have it on. I could just plug the opening in the breather and use it for looks if I wanted.

I watched my LTFT's off and on for a month and they stayed slightly positive, had a custom tune done by RWTD and still didn't go down enough. After a few weeks running on the new tune and no changes I seen a post about unmetered air. Stuck the stock cap on and drove about 50 miles and now LTFT's are slightly negative where they should be. That was the only change I did and my LTFT's have remained good since.

It isn't just me that have had this problem-link here https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=unmetered+air
