passenger poly motor mount worth it?
passenger poly motor mount worth it? I installed the driver's side about 8 months ago to help w/ y-pipe banging but still got some until I wedged a rubber piece b/w the pipe and under the car. My question is whether or not it's worth it to put the passenger side in and will it help with banging at all? I have a week off so plenty of time to do it although the drivers side was a biotch to do. I also have HPTuners coming this week so I'll be playing around with that too. Any suggestions?
Some people say that it's not worth it. It was in my case however, because when I pulled my pass. side stock mount, it was cracked the whole way through, and wasn't dampening a damn thing.
I say you have it, why not go ahead and throw it on...
FWIW, my motor is so still now it doesn't even appear to be running.

No idea because I did them both at the same time. I removed the header, starter, A/C compressor and bracket. I can tell you the engine doesn't seem to move at all.
I didn't remove the pedestal as I found the bolts were rediculously tight even after I broke them loose. I didn't want to snap one off so I decided to not remove the pedestal.
