Some say they rust out to soon? Spray them beetches down with some rustoleum or something and coat 'em again before you install them.

Default not smart

Hears the deal. Flowtech headers are made cheaper than other quality headers. If you buy them you can count on them leaking. And leaking is really loud. Doesnt matter if you use copper gaskets or not. You can't continually tighten them up because they warp and bow at the center of each lumen. These are the facts. Hope this helps.

Ive had them on my car for about 2 years. No leaks. The welds look great. They helped the car out a good bit. Easy to install. I did my own exhaust, So I cant say for the y pipe. And the gaskets. Dont use the ones theysend. I laughed at them. I reused my factory ones and theyworked out great. I just put another engine in my car and used the same gaskets again. No problems. they came with O2 ext also.

Here are some pics and video of mine after a year on the car in Mid Missouri. I do drive in the rain and snow. There is some surface rust, but nothing bad.

01GAWS6 is trelling the truth. I do not own them but I put them on. When the bokts are tightened the flange WILL warp at very bolt hole because the flange is not thick enough to retain its shape. Its only 1/4" and thats why they leak. I put some on a dudes car and put new OEM gaskets on and they leaked. Sounds like valves ticking. I reused 80000 mile OEM gaskets on my Pacesetters and no leaks.

Buy what you want Im just trying to help.

I just recieved my flowtech LT & ORY yesterday. Looks like the could have spent more time grinding some of the weld down but other than that they look fine. 350$ for LTs, ory, o2 ext, bolts and gaskets(gasket are garbage) I could not pass it up. Starting the install tonight. I will have pics after this weekend.

I have a set and my brother also had a set, his was the first run , his fit ok, they were coated and rusted pretty bad after about 4-5 months, they were easy to install and had a few leaks which was caused by a very thin flange, the collector flange that bolts up to the Y pipe was very thin and leaked also. Now onto mine I bought then a couple of months after he did and mine fit like ****, I had to grind the k member a great deal and it still hit, I had to bend in the header tube so it wouldnt hit the k member , the collector flanges also leaked and the thin flange on mine warped also. My brother now has a set of black painted Pacesetters he is gonna install and I will be getting rid on mine also one of these days for a set of stainless steel headers.

I have installed a few sets of pacesetters also and there were no harder ot install than the flowtechs and the pacesetter was alot better quality imo. I will never buy another set of flowtech headers or will I ever reccommend them to anyone, Imo they are junk. buy pacesetter if you want a good cheap set of headers.
