What excatly are you looking for in the catback? are you planning on getting LT's or ORY/Cats in the future? Do you want stainless steel? want loud? quite? You need to be a little more specific. Also do a search, there is so much info out there about this.

Read up on this sticky as well - https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139142.

Also visit www.ls1sounds.com to listen to clips of all those sytems.

I would like to get LTs and a catted Y sometime, don't know when. I would like stainless, but don't need it, and I want loud!

You want loud, go for the Rumbler, not stupid loud, but enough you notice it, best of all the price is easy to take
Like I said it's not stupid loud, barely louder than stock@ idle (good for keeping neighbors off your back) but you get on it, it screams (gotten lots of compliments on on how sweet it sounds @ WOT)

The Magnaflow is a very well contructed Catback. Great sound and the stainless steel construction is fantastic. Also it has been shown to flow just as well as a cutout in the I-pipe.

I went with the hooker, because after LT and a cam it is pretty dam loud. If you are not going ot put a cam in it I would say the gmmg or the rumbler

I went with Hooker for the same reason. After a cam, my LM was unliveable, now the Hooker is perfect with my setup. Lot of bang-for-the-buck too @ $299. at TByrne. If you don't have a cam, you might be unhappy with a Hooker though.

I bought a GMMG and it sounds amazing! I love it and couldnt of been happier. At first i was going to go with a hooker but after hearing the gmmg it is like most say "audible sex." I have a friend with the hooker and lt's and ory and now he wants a gmmg. The quality is just awsome even though it was used when i got it you could hardly tell. My vote is def. for the GMMG

go with a LM.. with cats it's not raspy or anythign... and it's in your face loud, all the time. If loud is what you want, nothing else can compare short of strait open headers.

I voted LM which will be what your looking for, but only if your gonna keep your cats. Once you dump the cats, it sounds terrible. But I agree get the duals!

I voted Lm as well. I have it on my 98z28 right now and it is a head turner for sure. IF you want all out, ***** to the wall loud, then can beat the LM. I recently gutted the cats on my y-pipe so im running mac headers, gutted cat Y, and the LM and I love it. It sounds plain evil. I am getting an FM13 installed hopefully this fall but probably next spring and I cant wait to hear it. I like loud though haha!

If you dont mind not having tips then get duals dumped at the rear (TSP sells them), or you can get the Bassani run out the back for like $779 in aluminized steel. Duals will net you more power and I am thinking of switching to them in the future as they sound means too, so if you are thinking of duals then def get them over any catback and if you want it loud get them with the dynomax bullets.
