LS2 intake manifold Will the LS2 intake manifold fit on an LS1 engine? I realize it would take a different sized throttle body, but are the dimensions correct for fitment. Also, if it does fit does anyone know if it is more efficient than the LS6 intake manifold. Or would the LS6 or the LSX still be the way to go.

- yes it bolts right up to LS1/LS6 heads
- you need new LS2 fuel rails since the LS1 rails won't fit
- need new 90mm LS2 TB or aftermarket
- does not gain any power over LS6 intake on an LS1/LS6 setup

It does fit, with modification and a new TB. You might not gain anything over your LS1 intake though. The LS2 is a crappy intake. If you want performance and an easy swap, just throw an LS6 intake on.
