Default Stainless Works Headers

Anyone have them? Comments please, I'm thinking of going with these for my next mod. 1.75" primaries with 2.5" collectors and catted Y. Also getting the headers coated.

the transition from 1.75" primaries to 2.5" collectors then to a 3" Y makes more sense to me and should give me a bit more low end torque. I just don't like the idea of 2 3" collectors going into a 3" Y.

FWIW Jet Hot told me a couple of years ago that 2 1/2" collectors on a stock cube motor will actually put out more power across the curve. I asked why they don't make them that way, he said very simple, they won't sell.

Can you buy the 1 3/4 non-emmisions headers with the 2.5" collector? I only see the non-emmisions headers with a 3" collector.

I'm running the StainlessWorks headers. They are an excellent product. I'm running their 2.5" Y with the Random Tech high flow cats. There is no need to coat the headers, the stainless will not rust or corrode and stainless steel has a lower thermal conductivity than carbon steel so you do not get as much heat out them. One other reason I bought them, their Y pipe is also Stainless and they come with the the best CATS (RT high flows).

I've got ther entire system, headers to 2.5" Y to a 3.5" exhaust. Runs great. Pictures on my site if interested.
