Default Header Install...Backfiring..Misfiring...Help!!

Hey Guys,
I installed some LT's with an off road y-pipe and slp LM on my car today. I do have a custome tune on the car. Car idles perfect sounds really good....until it backfires!!! I take off and in grunt 1st the car hesitates. If I even try to get on it a little it really hesitates and bucks a little. While driving and idling it backfires like crazy. The car has not yet thrown a code and I've put about 20 miles on it. Any suggestions???

Check your plug wires, chances are they aren't put on tight enough (2 clicks)
Check the plugs, you may have a cracked insulator (the white part)

Make sure that eveything is plugged back in. Then I would check the plugs and wires to make sure that they good as well.

This happened to us. '01 SS, M6, Borla, LT's, no cats. car sputtered, coughed, at first, then after 50 or so miles all hell broke loose. Car cleared up, runs great. Put some miles on it so the PCM can re-learn its new program with the new headers. Run the car thru the gears, and don't baby it, it will clear up. Ours did. Good Luck. Our '02 A4 WS6 ran good right away

Well Guys,
I found a cracked spark plug on the passenger side...and I mean cracked. I replaced it and drove the car. Still the same thing but a little better. I was thinking it was the 02 sensors because I did the "pacesetter splice". Go figure.
Anyways I decided to go ahead and replace all the spark plugs and doing it the right way instead of half-assed. Sure enough I found another one on the driver side pretty much in the same condition. Fired the baby up and she purrs like a (well I would say kitten but with LT's, an off road y-pipe, and LM exhaust it's a little loader than that). I must say this thing sounds nasty and you can really here the cam now, but I may have to make it BorlaMouth. Thanks for all the help!

I had cracked three plugs when I put mine in. Its very difficult not to do when installing headers on these cars.
