well, before when i had the cutout on stock manifolds there was alot of vibration inside at around 2000rpms. But now, with headers and no cats running to the cutout, it is much more tame inside even at mid-higher rpms. But it sounds ferocious when revved, you can tell its running off just headers and a y-pipe. I am also happy with how quiet the system is cutout closed, nice stealth at the push of a button.

i know the pipes look kinda ugly, but as long as it functions right its cool.

What size is that? Looks like it might be a 3' but you have some sweet ground clearance still!

how much did you end up paying for the cutout and the valve? i was going to get them within a couple months. Is the valve adjustable? or is is just opened or closed?

thanks

the valve has a range of adjustment from fully open to fully closed. I paid $45 for the cutout from QTP, the mccord mpp2 was a little less than the QTEC.

from looking at the pics it looks like the exhuast would be pouring out onto your floorboard, is it heating up? and is that a problem at all.

i finally got mine and i'm just trying to figure out what angle i should put it on so i'll have enough ground clearance and it won't effect anything else.

no its not bad. There defintely seems to be more heat on the floor from the transmission than anything else.
