Just got done with a 3 inch true dual exhaust. I have sims in place of the rear O2 sensors. I threw a code about 120 miles into the new exhaust set up. The codes thrown were for the (BANK 1 SENSOR 1) O2 sensor, and for the air mixture being too lean. I assume this was becasue of the O2 messing up. I had the tech clear out, NOT DELETE, the code, and the SES light hasn't returned as of yet.
Question one which sensor is bank 1 sensor 1?
And 2, will it only be a matter of time before this code returns, or does it just sound like a glitch?
Also when my exhaust was being installed, the guy accidentally got hi-temp spray paint on the head of my right side sensor in the header.
Any input would be wonderful, since Im leaving on a trip with the car in the morning.

I have the same exact deal. The same code will be thrown every once in a while, usually it goes away after a couple days for me on its own.
Bank 1 is the drivers side and sensor 1 is before the cat.
Try switching the sensors around as well, all four of them are interchangable.
Iam pretty sure that paint on the sensor is a bad thing.
