I installed mine about a month ago only using ramps from autozone. Only hassle was removing old system. I had to cut it off with hacksaw in front of rear axle and just behind axle. No biggy. Use plenty of penetrating oil on clamp near y-pipe. I went and bought heavier clamps at advance auto to crush the pipes better. Do not waste your money taking to a muffler shop. Complete removal and installation should be less than 3 hours. Great time to change your diff fluid as well? You'll love the sound.

I installed my 1st cat-back using jackstands, laying on my back in my driveway. I got it on, and everything worked fine.

I've done four more since then, including two long-tube header installs, but these were done on my lift. Is a lift necessary? No. Does it make the job easier? Yes. I was fortunate enough to be able to install a 2-post lift in the shop I had built two years ago. This isn't something that fits everyone's budget, but if you ever find yourself financially able to put up a shop, go the extra mile and get a 2-post lift. You'll need a a 6" concrete floor, and a minimum ceiling height according to the lift you buy. Mine will work with a ceiling as low as 9'. 2-post lifts are surprisingly inexpensive...less than some hi-performance engine parts. I paid $1,600 for mine, and I don't know what I'd do without it.

Default Installing LT's

The biggest PITA is getting the old stuff off. My Pacesetters went on in less than 30 minutes (both sides). Getting the old stuff off took about 8 hours. I used both Pacesetter LT's (non emmissions) and ORY, and used the Hooker aerochamber catback. It worked out really well. You will need to get a sleeve to connect the ORY to the catback. It is a good sounding system, sometimes I won't even turn on the stereo just to listen to it.
