Can somebody tell me how many different ignition coils there are, seen LS1/6 and LS2 are different also Truck?

Do they all use the same harness plug?

Just looking for a factory item that doesnt foul on brake booster on conversions, do truck coils sit higher?

 

From what I've seen here, there are 2 different coils on GM LSx motors. The truck coil have there on style rails and generally regarded as being a little hotter than the car coils.

Yes the truck rails mount a little higher than the car ones.
